What is the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest?

The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is a global competition that invites children to unleash their creativity and draw their dream cars. The contest comprises two phases: the National Contest, which takes place in individual countries and regions, and the World Contest, which is held in Japan.

During the National Contest, children from participating countries and regions can submit their artwork to showcase their creativity and imagination. Winners from each National Contest are then invited to compete at the World Contest in Japan. This provides a unique opportunity for talented young artists from different countries to come together, exchange ideas and cultures, and celebrate their passion for art and innovation.

Purpose of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest

With the mission to “Produce Happiness for All”, Toyota is committed to creating a society where people can dream of a brighter future and believe in the power of creativity as the driving force. Toyota firmly believes in the power of nurturing children’s aspirations and giving them opportunities to turn their dreams into reality. Through the Dream Car Art Contest, children are provided a platform to showcase their creativity and imagination by designing their very own “Dream Cars.

Our objective for this contest is to encourage children to manifest the following essential components in their artwork.

  1. The first aim of the contest is to inspire children to discover their innate creativity and bring their unique ideas to life through their artwork.
  2. The second goal is to encourage children to experience the thrill and joy of expressing their vivid imaginations visually and conveying their innermost thoughts through their artwork.
  3. Finally, we aim to foster global communication and cultural exchange among children from various countries and regions through their artwork. We hope that their artwork will serve as a medium for them to connect with each other and share their perspectives, dreams, and aspirations for a better future.
